Everyday cooking for normally busy parents.

What are we going to eat today?

Ok, something not dificult to make (coming back from work, I’m quite tired right now and have a hard time thinking clearly), which doesn’t take too long either (I’m starving!!), but which nevertheless tastes good:-)

Are you asking yourself the same question every day? Well then, this post may be for you! hopefully, you’ll find every now and then a recipe that makes your day and saves you from ready-made or fast food.

The following recipes will originate from different countries as I like to try new things. But the vast majority wll probavly be from France. So, BON APPÉTIT!

PIPERADE (for 2, ready in 30 minutes, few ingredients, excellent taste!)

Ingredients: 2 green pepperbells, 1 can of tomatoes, 1 zucchini (if you want), 1 onion, 4 eggs, 6 slices of bacon, Provence herbs, salt, pepper.

  1. In a pan, fry the onion in a bit of olive oil, until soft. Add the vegetables cut in small dice, season and let simmer for 15 min.
  2. Turn on the oven, 200 degres C, and when the vegetables are ready, put them in an oven-proof dish, make four small holes in the vegetables into which you break one egg. Then decorate with the slices of bacon and set in the oven until the bacon is crsipy and the eggs ar done (appr.15 min.)
